Following
on from previous concerns, we are giving advanced notice of
road closures, 14 days before the event all roads leading into
North Petherton
will have
warning boards placed at strategic
locations giving notice that the each road will be closed from
5.30pm until midnight.
One
the day of the carnival itself all road leading into North
Petherton will close at 5.30pm, with the only exception of
entry being that of the emergency services.
Do
not try to use country lanes, you may meet hold ups and we
cannot be held responsible for any damage sustained to your
vehicle if you try to use these, and you stand the chance of
missing the carnival altogether.
DIVERSIONS
WILL OPERATE AS FOLLOWS
Bridgwater
to Taunton via M5 Southbound or A372 then onto the A361
Southbound at Othery.
Taunton
to Bridgwater via M5 Northbound. (please note the junction of
the A38/A361 at Walford Cross will close at 5.30pm prompt)
or
at Walford Cross, A361 until Othery the left at junction of
A372 for Glastonbury and North continue on A361
PLEASE
NOTE AFTER THE LAST ENTRY HAS PASSED ANY GIVEN ONE POINT A
ROLLING ROAD RE-OPENING

VEHICLES MUST EXIT NORTH PETHERTON
IN THE SOUTHBOUND DIRECTION ONLY |
