Everyone
who attended the 2008 North Petherton Carnival will remember
the atrocious weather they were all subjected to. The Carnival
itself was a great show
and
the Carnival Committee thank, once again all those
Carnivalites who came and entertained us and all the
spectators who braved the storms to enjoy
the
spectacle.
The
Carnival in North Petherton has been going for 60 years and we
cannot recall a worse night for weather! One thing we do know,
however, is that our
regular
carnival fans support us year after year because they do not
want to see this wonderful tradition suffer, and nether do we!
We need to boost our
collection
and as many of you already donate generously each year we feel
that some kind of recognition is in order.
Would

introduced a Patronage Scheme
to
acknowledge the support of those who do truly give generously.
A donation of at least £5.00 for a years patronage will give
you a mention in the
Carnival
programme, plus a free programme as soon as it is ready, and
also £1.00 off the purchaser of any North Petherton Carnival
DVD.
You
will also be helping North Petherton Carnival greatly.
All
Carnivals need continued support to help keep this tradition
alive and this patronage scheme is one way of showing the
appreciation of North Petherton. If you are interested please

Orders made payable to North Petherton Carnival, to arrive
before September 30th for inclusion in the 2010 programme.
Unfortunately donations received after that date will be held
